Hi there,

I have just received word from AISA that the school pitch is indeed ready to be played upon so we will be having our first official training session this coming Wednesday, September 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

As this is our first official get together of the year both the men’s and ladies’ teams will combine for a shared session Wednesday night.

From Sunday night on (September 6th) both teams will have their own hour on the field – who takes the 7:00 – 8:00 pm slot for the month of September can be decided between the coaches Wednesday night.

Due to the fact that we have a number of new players on board this year who may not be familiar with the location of the pitch can I ask that everyone meet outside Choueifat School here in the city at 6:30 pm sharp. From there, those of us with cars can transport everyone out to the field.
Choueifat School is located on Airport Road (2nd Street) and 15th street as you head out from the centre of the city.

Please also keep in mind that we have a mini 9-a-side tournament coming up in Dubai on Friday, September 11th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm. Further details of this will follow early next week but we do need to give an idea of numbers so if you think you’d be interested in coming along and playing please let the trainers know Wednesday night at training.

This is just a chance to get everyone together and play in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere so please do put your name forward!
