Abu Dhabi Fianna V Oman: Season Opener a Big Success

“I heard one of the new Choueifat lads played senior for Roscommon”. “See that girl over there in the green and gold, she used to play minor for Meath” – with comments like these, it had to be Na Fianna’s first outing of the season. Every year it’s the same, there’s such a massive clear out of players in June that when the new season comes around, all kinds of rumours surface, some wishful thinking and some with more than a grain of truth. Many new players arrived this year and after all the graft on the training field everybody was looking forward to the first match of the season just to see what the prospects for the year ahead were.
